Facebook Ads and Boosted Posts

Facebook Boosted Posts

A boosted post is a Facebook post (such as a real estate listing or link to your web page) that has been paid for to increase visibility. This makes the post appear higher in the News Feed, giving your intended audience a better chance to see it. Your boosted post will appear to friends and friends-of-friends and can expand beyond that based on your advertising preferences.

Boosted Posts can be set up weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. They require a Facebook Ads budget allowance which you will predetermine with your social media manager.

Facebook Ads

Facebook Ads appear to a wider audience than boosted posts, appearing not only in the News Feed but in Facebook's Audience Network. Choose your demographic based on location, age, gender, and more. For example, you may choose to target an ad for reverse mortgages to those in your area who are over 55. The ad can:

  • Include custom graphics with your branding
  • Link to your website
  • Track performance by demographic including link clicks and visits to your website
  • Appear not only to friends but to a broad demographic of your choosing, increasing your visibility beyond your circle and into new territory

In addition to dedicated time with a social media manager as you choose your targeted audience and ad layout, you will receive an Insights Report about your ad’s performance.

Facebook Ads can be set up weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. They require a Facebook Ads budget allowance which you will predetermine with your social media manager.
